Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) is the legal term for services (such as mediation) that help people affected by separation or divorce to sort out family disputes.

 

FDR can help people to agree on a range of issues relating to property, money, and most importantly – their children.

About Our Service

  • Our service delivery is based on a Culturally Informed Trauma Integrated Healing Approach (CITIHA)

  • Confidentiality sits at the heart of our Family Dispute Resolution

  • Our mediation services are non-biased, we do not take sides

  • We will take the time to explain so you know what you are giving consent to

  • Accessible for First Nations people within the Great Southern region (only one of the mediation parties is required to be a First Nations person)

  • There is no cost to access our Family Dispute Resolution services
